Lomnice near Tišnov is a small town remarkable not only for its chateau and Baroque church but also for its Jewish monuments commemorating the Jewish settlement which existed here for more than 200 years. The town centre was rebuilt in the second half of the 17th century according to the plans of the Vienna architect C. P. Tencally.
The parish Visitation church is a one-aisle building with chapels and two towers. It was built in the early Baroque style according to the project of the architect Tencallo by the building contractors Pavel Weinberger and Jan Krtitel Erna.

Lomnice u Tišnova je mestecko pozoruhodné nejen zámkem a barokním kostelem, ale i svými památkami na židovskou osadu, která zde existovala více než 200 let. Jádro mestecka bylo prestaveno v druhé polovine 17. století podle plánu vídenského architekta C. P. Tencally.
Farní kostel Navštívení Panny Marie je jednolodní stavbou s kaplemi a dvema vežemi. Byl postaven v rane barokním slohu podle Tencallova projektu staviteli Pavlem Weinbergerem a Janem Krtitelem Ernou.
