Background Story: On the Library and University Center malls of the University of Texas at Arlington, you’ll find stallions decorated in orange, white, and blue, the university's colors. Every year since 2009, incoming freshmen are allowed to decorate the stallions with artwork, including handprints, signatures, Greek letters, and messages of school spirit. There were at least three of these when the tradition began, but since the idea was to have a stampede, there may be more of them.
