Symi is a lovely town with the same name as the small island in which is located, not far from the well known Rhodes. Symi is a bit crowded during the day, when tourists come by ferry from Rhodes in a day trip. But when the last boat leaves only a few remain - accommodation is not specially abundant and the rates are definitely above average - and the atmosphere changes dramatically. The busy Symi becomes a quiet and intimate place.
