Two Olympians, Ralph Hill and Dan O'Brien, were students at Henley High School and have a trophy case of Olympic memorabilia devoted to them just inside the school entrance.

Located at Henley High School is a trophy case devoted to two Olympians, Ralph Hill and Dan O'Brien, who both attended and graduated from Henley High School, home of the Hornets.

Wrap Text around ImageRalph Hill graduated in 1927 and won the silver medal in the 5000 M run in the 1932 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles. He moved back to Klamath and farmed for many decades until passing away in 1994 at the age of 85.

Dan O'Brien attended and graduated from Henley High School in 1984. He won a gold medal in the decathlon in the 1996 Summer Olympics held in Atlanta. He also won gold medals at the 1991, 1993, and 1995 World Championships in AthleticsCurrently, O'Brien has been a resident of the Phoenix area since 1997, relocating from Moscow, Idaho. He owns Gold Medal Acceleration, a gym in Scottsdale, is a volunteer track coach at ASU, and does commentary for track and field events on television.

The trophy case is located just inside the front entrance to the high school on the left and contains a number of memorabilia from both athletes to include:

Miscellaneous Olympic memorabilia:
Olympic Torch Relay plaque highlighting the Olympic Torch that passed through Klamath Falls July 11, 1984, on its way to the Summer Games in Los Angeles. It was presented to Ralph Hill in honor of his Olympic Achievement in the 1932 games also held in Los Angeles.

1984 Olympic Torch Relay commemoration plaque presented to Henley Schools and Ralph Hill for helping to carry on the Olympic Torch through Klamath Falls on its journey to light the Olympic Flame at the Los Angeles Coliseum, signifying the start of the XXIIIrd Olympiad.
