Kaple Božího tela se jako jedna z prvních svatyní tohoto zasvecení ve strední Evrope, pripomíná 1280–96. Roku 1423 ji znicili Husité. Po obnove byla znovu vysvecena roku 1437. V letech 1478–91 ji nahradil nový dvojlodní kostel. Po skoncení tricetileté války byl kostel rozšíren o severní bocní lod (1677). Roku 1820 byla k jižnímu boku gotického dvojlodí pristavena poslední loretánská kaple v ceských zemích.

Chapel of Corpus Christi in Slavonice was one of the first churches of this sanctuarie in Central Europe, recorded in 1280-1296. In 1423, it was destroyed by Hussites. After restoration was re-consecrated in 1437. From 1478 to 1491 it replaced with a new double nave church. After the Thirty Years' War, the church was extended to the north aisle (1677). 1820 was the south side of the Gothic naves added last Loretto Chapel in the Czech lands.
