The rearward extension of this late Victorian semi is huge and belies the small flat-roofed extension seen in the photos. As the only 'full-time' post office for some distance it has all the usual facilities of a rural post office and as the village shop, the wide range of goods carried is sufficient for the local population.
It can be found at New Row, Draycott in the Clay, which is alongside and to the east of the main road through the village, the A515.
