A truly unique object in Vyškovsko is the windmill in Ruprechtov. The Rupretchov Dutch-style masonry mill was built in 1873 and in the beginning, wind actually turned the “common” vanes. Before long, however, the local milliner Cyril Vágner, installed the more effective Halladay turbine, which better resists the powerful Drahan winds. Today, the mill in Ruprechtov no longer grinds flour, but this rare technical monument is open to the public and belongs among the landmarks of the region.

Opravdový unikát Vyškovska predstavuje vetrný mlýn v Ruprechtove. Ruprechtovský zdený mlýn holandského typu byl postaven roku 1873 a zpocátku vítr skutecne roztácel „obycejné“ lopaty. Zanedlouho jej však zdejší mlynár Cyril Vágner osadil efektivnejší Halladayovou turbínou, která lépe odolávala silnému drahanskému vetru. Dnes už sice ruprechtovský mlýn mouku nemele, ale vzácná technická památka je zprístupnena verejnosti a patrí k dominantám regionu.
