Muzeum je príkladem typické hospodárské usedlosti strední Moravy s hákovou (dvoubokou) formou dvora, postavený z nepálených cihel, s valbovou strechou krytou došky, okapove orientovaný ke komunikaci. Tradicní trojprostorový pudorys: jizba-sín-komora byl postupnými pristavbami a prestavbami rozšíren o svetnici a další komoru.
