This is an excellent trail along Slocan Lake, beginning in Valhalla Provincial Park across the river from Slocan City, at the south end of Slocan Lake.

This is a generally flat trail which follows the west shore of Slocan Lake with beautiful views and a multitude of swimming spots. The 7.5 km trail starts at the north end of Slocan North Road, across the bridge and north from Slocan City. Parking is available on the south side of Park Avenue on the east side of the bridge, from where one walks across the bridge, and up Slocan North Road to the trailhead.

Valhalla Park is a 50,060 hectare provincial park along the western shore of Slocan Lake which has 8 separate hiking/biking trails ranging from flat, like this one, to steep, mountainous climbs. Some have elevation changes greater than 1350 metres.
