This Kentucky History Marker is located on the campus of Western Kentucky University. It is along College Heights Boulevard between the Kentucky Museum and Diddle Arena.

The marker is about Bowling Green being the state capital of Kentucky as recognized by the Confederate States of America during the Civil War in November of 1861.

The text reads:
