The clock sits atop the Law Courts and has four identical faces. The hour and minute marks are pressed from one piece of material and are black in colour. A bevel runs around the outer perimeter of the clock and is coloured gold. A similar bevel runs around the inside of the hour marks.
The background to the clock face is white and is probably translucent allowing the clock to be lit at night. The area of the face, inside the hour marks, has a feint pattern made of diamond shapes.
The hands, coloured black, are simple in design and do not have tails.
The clock was not working on this occasion.
