The PUBLIC LIBRARY (open 12-9 weekdays), corner of 7th and K Sts., is housed in a two-story, red-brick, tile-roofed building. Its collection of 23,373 volumes includes 50 volumes in the Swedish language. -Washington: A Guide to the Evergreen State, 1941

A branch of the Timberland Regional Library, Hoquiam's red-brick library building continues to serve the residents of Hoquiam and the surrounding area. It is open Tuesday through Saturday.
