The Morrill Hall Alumni Center has replaced the bell in its tower with a speaker that chimes just like a real bell every quarter-hour and is located on the University of Nevada campus.

Morrill Hall Alumni Center is located at the south end of what's called The Quad. This building was the first structure built on the University of Nevada, Reno campus in 1896-7. When looking at this bell tower you can see the metal bell stand that once held the bell in place, especially noticeable from the north side. The bell is gone and has been replaced with a large speaker that chimes just like a real bell every quarter-hour. This is one of the nicest bell towers I've come across.

I was able to find an older photo of Morrill Hall from 1932 that shows the original bell still functioning and can be visited here.
