The clock has a gray round face with black hands and Roman numerals. The clock is surrounded by gold colored square with different figures in each corner.

The Vineland High School, now known as the Landis School, a middle school, was built in 1927. The building is in a late English Gothic Revival style. The brick and stone school was designed by J.O. Betelle, a founding partner of the firm of Guilbert and Betelle. The firm designed many school buildings throughout the east.

The building has a T-shaped plan with the top of the T being the long main facade. The center bay, with the school's main entrance is tower with clock and turreted tower in its corner.

The building has served continuously as a school building since its construction and appears to be in excellent condition.

The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Note: The building is an active school and best to visit during non-school hours when students are not present.
