On top of the so-called 'Lautenschläger-Brunnen' (Lute Player Fountain) in Bad Cannstatt, Germany, Baden-Württemberg sits a small nude boy playing his lute.
The fountain has been created by Jakob Clement in 1934.
It is named by the small nude boy sitting on top of it and playing his lute.
The water of the fountain is mineral water from the nearby spring 'Wilhelmsbrunnen'. There's a plaque with details at the fountain.
The fountain is listed in the German Monument Registers sinc 1987 and has its own entry at the German wikipedia.
