Located on the property that includes the historic C.C. Beekman House, the Beekman arboretum contains a wide variety of plants. The front of this information sign provides a description of the arboretum site, an area map, and photos and names of the many native plants that can be found here. The reverse side of the sign provides information about plants and their use by Native Americans. The sign was placed by the Jacksonville Woodlands Association.
