"S.S. Major Furniture and Undertaking; Knights of Pythias, c. 1905-1908
Two-story brick, commercial building. The main facade features a centered entrance with non-original door flanked by non-original narrow, plate glass windows. Original second story fenestration is segmental arched, one-over-one, double-hung sash with stone lug sills. Brick corbeling at the roof line."
My commentary...
I found no other information on the building. The lower street level was probably used as the business and meetings were held in the upper story. I found no information as to where the new Lodge is located or when this building was last used as a Lodge. The building is now used for an Air and Water Purification business.
