South Beach in Miami Beach has many art deco hotels. Most of them were built in the 1930s and 1940s.
The McAlpin Hotel seems to be operated by the Hilton Hotel which has it featured on a webpage (
visit link) vacation suites at the beach.
The four floor building was constructed in 1940.

The building is painted mostly in flamingo pink with a touch turquoise...mostly on the 1st floor.
The art deco style is pronounced mostly by the ledges hovring over the entire first floor and above most of the windows on the building's facade. A central beam on the exterior rises to hold an open-air roof on the sundeck.
No information could be found about the architect.
