Right from Deerfield on Deerfield Pike to the delightful Deerfield Stone Church erected 1771 of native sandstone. This Presbyterian structure has been used every Sunday since its erection. Although little changed outwardly, the interior has been modernized several times.-New Jersey: A Guide To Its Present and Past, 1939, pg. 655.
The church known as Deerfield Presbyterian Church is in excellent condition. It had an extensive renovation in 1947 retaining exterior appearance and while the interior was extensively changed. The church building continues to serve its active congregation.
