Blues, as well as Jazz, are very popular in Prague. Perhaps the strong connection between the city and US expats, starting immediately after the fall of the Communism, in 1989, explain this strong bond.
And Blues Sklep (which translates as "cellar" or "underground") is one of the most significant blues clubs in Prague. The concert room is actually a cellar, very atmospheric and adequate to this sort of music.
Every day there is live music and although there are a few exceptions, the large majority of the evenings are dedicated to the Blues.
The club opens every day at 7 pm, and then, by 9:30pm the live music starts. It is opened until 2 am.
