Stoddard-Wendle Motors actually did occupy this building, on the north east corner of Jefferson and Second. In 1943 Stoddard-Wendle Ford was founded by Wayne Stoddard and Chud Wendle. Wendle Ford, the successor, is now at 9000 N Division Street in Spokane. They are now a Ford, Nissan and Infiniti dealership.
