The Helena River enters the Swan next to Kings Meadow Oval, Guildford and opposite Point Reserve, Bassendean
The Helena river starts approx 78kms southeast and the Swan , which changes it's name from the Avon River at the confluence of the Wooroloo Brook in Walyunga National Park 25km upstream, however the Avon is another 120km in length before the meeting
Point Reserve is a popular location for swimming or fishing from the two jetties
Coordinates are on the north bank of the Helena River and east bank of the Swan River
