In front of the Little Garden Restaurant and across the street from Audubon Park, the sign is at the intersection of West Northwest Boulevard and North A Street (lack of imagination in street naming indicated here) and is intended for the edification of southeast bound motorists. It appears to be completely solar powered, the only backup being a battery pack.

Let's see now... ...if we were to implement a sufficiently complex algorithm, we could eliminate the need of a clock and switch the warning lights on and off simply by accurately tracking the position of the sun. Hmmm... ...minor problem here... ... ... ... Potential Fix: no school on cloudy days?
Type of system: Photovoltaic (electrical)
