This eight story circa 1889 was widely advertised as a "fireproof" building, it has a wrought iron frame with hollow brick firewalls behind its facade brick. The building was designed for the banks and brokerage firms which were its early tenants. Over the years the building has had many tenants including banks, brokers, lawyers, ad firms, and Ozark Airlines was founded in this building. The building was renovated and opened as a Hilton Hotel in 2005.
