Long Description:
From the US97 exit in Redmond, continue generally SW on SW Airport Way for about 0.3 mile. Turn right on SW 19th Street and continue S for 0.8 mile. Park and walk S for 0.4 mile. Turn right and walk W for 0.5 mile along the T15S R13E S32 south 1/16 line to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 1-1/2" aluminum cap on 5/8" iron rod in mound of stones; rising 18"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
Found a 30" western juniper bearing tree with a LOCATION POSTER and a scribed blaze. Also found, at the coordinates expected for T15S R13E S32 SW 1/16 COR, a 24" tall x 36" diameter mound of stones. The 1-1/2" aluminum cap stamped OREGON STATE PARKS on 5/8" iron rod was not found. About 5' NW there is white paddleboard on a U-post which reads OREGON STATE/ PARK BOUNDARY/ DO NOT DISTURB. Found an 11" western juniper bearing tree with a LOCATION POSTER and a scribed blaze which reads SW 1/16 BT RS 691.

What property is this mark defining?:
In order to establish the Redmond-Bend Juniper Wayside boundary it was necessary to subdivide T15S R13E S32. T15S R13E S32 S 1/16 COR is not on the park boundary. T15S R13E S32 SW 1/16 COR is on the park boundary. Eighty acres NW of this corner was once slated to become the Redmond-Bend Juniper Wayside, an Oregon State Park. This land is now being included in discussions of the South Redmond Tract Land Use and Management Plan.
