"This project dates back to 1996 and was born in the sequence of synergies among historians, businessmen and teachers.
The opening took place on 26 September 2002.
The museum has four exhibition rooms seeking to display and recreate the art and history of bread.
-Cycle of the bread - in this space is reconstructed the essential steps of the cycle's of the Portuguese traditional bread.
The bread-political, social and religious - in this space is displayed and recalled the history of the national bread for the past 400 years.
-The art of bread - in this room are exposed objects that have inspiration in bread, their tools and traditions.
Pedagogical Room-it is essentially a learning space dedicated to children and young people."
