This truck is one of a fleet of four at Station Number 91 of Spokane County Fire District 9, on West Hastings Road in the Community of Mead, just north of the northern edge of Spokane.

This is a Ford F550 One Ton Brush Truck, used primarily for fighting grass and forest fires in and around Spokane. The conversion was likely done by General Fire Apparatus Inc., of Spokane, as they were the makers of most of the machinery on the truck.
Luckily, when we visited Station 91, they were just rolling out a couple of the trucks to service them, and invited us in to view the fleet. We didn't have to be asked twice.
