There is a white paddleboard mounted on a U-post 3' N of the corner. The witness post reads 8-22-78/RS 691/NE CORNER SECTION 6, and it was originally placed by John E. There is a LOCATION POSTER on the original tree, a 30" western juniper which bears S60ºW, 39.9' distant. Also found, at the coordinates expected for [T15S R13E S32] T16S R13E S5 CC 1/4 COR, a 1/2 x 1-3/4" wood lath stake rising 12" in a ring of stones about 105' N of a barbed wire fence.
