On the road up to the Loon Lake cemetery one will pass a couple of water tanks, solar powered.

Water reservoirs for the town of Loon Lake, they are along Loon Lake Cemetery Road, which runs east off Highway 395 at the northeast corner of the lake. There's a single solar panel and control box atop one of the tanks. The system is likely gravity fed, so the solar panels are probably for either remotely controlling valves or remote monitoring of system levels, etc.
