The bell was mady by the Meneely Bell Foundry of West Troy, New York in 1871. The church was built in 1880 and burned down in 1887. The bell was salvaged and was eventually mounted in this specially made tower for display. It is just inside the entrance to Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery on North Government Way, on the western edge of Spokane.

1880 - All Saints Church in Spokane was established the Rev. Reuben Nevius (the first small church was moved to the corner of First and Jefferson – destroyed by fire in 1887). In 1889, a new gray clapboard building was completed and served as the Cathedral Church until 1929.
