The Garberville Theater located at 766 Redwood Drive in Garberville, California. The building in which the theater is located was originally constructed in 1924 as a parking garage for the Garberville Inn. In 1935, William G. Cooke Jr. purchased the garage and began converting it into a theater. On August 2, 1935, the theater opened showing “Life Begins at 40” staring Will Rogers.
