The Rotary Riverfront Fountain, by Harold Balazs and Bob Perron, is surrounded with little fish, dozens and dozens of them, all swimming outward, away from the fountain. On the concrete walkway surrounding the fountain are a total of thirteen strips of exposed aggregate, each about two feet wide, radiating out from the fountain for varying distances, from eight to about fifty feet. Each is covered in little aluminum or stainless steel fishes. Many were obviously donated by families, as there may be six or eight identical last names in a group. In total, there are a few hundred of these little fish.
