This is Spokane's Tribute to all the Rescue Workers of 9/11, those who perished and those who survived. It is a Girl Scouts Project, designed by artists Hazen Audel and Robert Sevilla Naudon. The large stainless steel flag, upon which are superimposed black EMTs and Firefighters, is attached to a deformed flagpole. The memorial was unveiled in 2007 and is situated beside the driveway of Station Number 18.
