"Beautiful" Torbay's Town Hall contains the office for municipal officials, Town Council Chambers and the nice local museum.
Torbay is located in the St. John's Census Metropolitan Area, just north of St. John's. The town boundaries abut St. John's International Airport. The town's slogan is "Beautiful" which is appropriate for this mainly residential community on the rugged shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Not far from the town hall's backdoor is a fantastic view of Torbay Bight.
The town has about 7,000 residents and has experienced a lot of growth over the last 20 years when less than 5,000 people lived in the community.
