A beautiful war memorial that, not long ago, was built on the front lawn of the Kapuskasing Train Station. Commemorates locals who died during WWI, WWII, Korean War and on peacekeeping missions.

It was erected by the Town of Kapuskasing.
Engraved in the top arch is:
"Lest We Forget"
"Nous Nous Souviendrons"
The names of all those who died are engraved in the granite flanks.

Description of Memorial: The large monument is ringed by the flag of Canada and all its provinces and territories. The memorial also includes spots that could be for seating. Being only a few metres from the Trans Canada highway it's certainly not in the quietest location.
