Still in use and open slightly over 4 months of the year, this is a regulation sized arena that has hosted thousands and thousands of skaters in its 40 year life time. Besides public skating and private skating parties it offers drop in hockey games for ages 16+, skating lessons and, due to the lack of curling rinks in the area, curling lessons and curling leagues. Though it is outdoor, possibly because it is covered it has been recognized as one of the best outdoor skating rinks in the nation.

We visited at the end of October and the place was hoppin' - there were a lot of kids enjoying the place. We noticed that the ice was marked for both hockey and curling.
