This local butcher shop, Prime Cuts, is located on the border of Albert Square in the historic fishing village and seaside resort of Fleetwood. It is believed to be the first business opened in town.

According to a historical marker in Albert Square, this butcher shop is believed to be the first business opened in the town of Fleetwood. The plans for the town were laid out about 1840, and in its height was the third largest fishing port in Great Britain.
This butcher shop was closed at the time of our visit, so no further information could be gathered, and there seems to be no documentation on other web sources concerning the history of the building or business
