This is a lesser bridge in the area of Almancil. However it was apparently built many centuries ago, during the Arab occupation of these lands. The date stone is from 1810 and there is a plate with information about a recent renovation, dated 1999. It's a one arch bridge. The body of water is dry most of the year.
Date built or dedicated as indicated on the date stone or plaque.: 1810

Date stone, plaque location.: Middle of the bridge, inner parapet

Road, body of water, land feature, etc. that the bridge spans.: Rua Manuel Francisco Aleixo
