This horse-themed mural in Mitzi's Park is approximately 5 1/2 ft. high and 35 feet long. It consists of many colorful horses, with hundreds of handprints forming the lower terrain of the scene. A couple of scissor-tail flycatchers and a bright sun are painted on the white sky.
The mural is painted on the east side of the fence that lines the west side of the courtyard, next to the Fine Arts Institute's main building. Access to the park and mural is at the south side, off of E. Edwards.
8/28/2015: It appears that this mural was painted over, and the new mural is now represented in Hamquilter's waymark.
