From the intersection with US97 in Redmond, travel E on Evergreen Avenue, then generally ESE on ORE126 for about 3.3 miles to reference monuments on the right and left.
Type of survey mark: 2" aluminum cap on 5/8" iron rod in mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The true corner is located at the highway centerline, hence reference monuments were established 50.0' S and N of that point. At each reference monument there is a green and white T-post and two western junipers with yellow BEARING TREE tags and scribed blazes, painted red. A brass washer stamped LS 1026 is nailed on the blazes of each tree.


What property is this mark defining?:
The corner is on the Deschutes-Crook County boundary line. Survey history is found in Deschutes County Surveyors Office, Oregon Corner Restoration Record No. 1786.
