Hoover Dam Central Warehouse Helipad - Helicopter Landing Pads on Waymarking.com

This is a general-purpose helipad that serves a number of necessary functions in conjunction with the operation of Hoover Dam and its two power plants. Its primary use is probably associated with rush shipments of parts or supplies for dam support but may also serve as a landing point for security and protection forces should a terrorist attack against the dam be attempted.

A good view of the helipad can be had from the Lakeview Overlook just north of the Central Warehouse.
