Sweetie Pie's is a local institution, and for some customers, it's worth a thirty minute drive for a good meal. They are often open on holidays and are kid-friendly. They have a very small menu of wine and beer, and the latter is pretty much the big breweries (no micros). If you're not full from your meal, they have some wonderful desserts, which you can always take with you for later.
