This is one of nearly two dozen facilities operated by the Fylde Coast YMCA, this in cooperation with the Wyre Borough Council. There are complete pool facilities here for adults and children and a modern fitness centre.

The adjoining Marine Hall is landmark art-deco building dating from 1935, still in use as a major theatre and event center. In 2012, a the Marine Gardens were opened, offering even more recreational facilities such as golf, lawn bowling and a children's play area, making this an even more ideal location for this YMCA facility.
