Located on the campus of Mt Hood Community College, this planetarium is open to the public. Planetarium Director and Astronomy Instructor, Pat Hanrahan, has succeeded in providing a low cost yet entertaining experience. They offer three public shows on the first Tuesday of the month (their exact schedule may be viewed on their website). All shows are presented under a realistic representation of the night sky, featuring the latest galactic, stellar and planetary images. The public pays a $2 admission, but the planetarium is free to MHCC students and employees. Parking at the site is free.
