This historic fishing village has become increasingly popular as a tourist destination. It is connected to the busy resort city of Blackpool by the tramway, a very convenient way to get here. A walk along the Promenade offers scenic views of the Wyre and passes many historic buildings and parks. Wandering through the narrow streets will yield discoveries of little restaurants and bakeries and historic churches.
Hours of Operation: From Easter to the last week of the illuminations:
Daily 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Winter Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday
11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
