Georgiana Slough Bridge - Moving Bridges on Waymarking.com

This is a small Bridge in the Delta of the Sacramento River. It is only half a mile away from the much larger Walnut Grove Drawbridge, but while Walnut Grove Bridge provides the essential connection between Dead Horse Island and Grand Island across the Sacramento River on highway 220, this small bridge is the only connection to the small Andrus Island across the Georgiana Slough.

The bridge is operational whole year long but requests to open it have to be submitted four hours in advance.
