his large art deco building is located near the famous Blackpool Tower in this popular coastal resort city. The clock is mounted in the central tower.

The Edith Centre is presently home to a range of retail shops, and McDonald's has set up business on the ground level.
Although it appears on the list of the
Art Deco Blog, there seems to be no information on its construction and history, although apparently regarded as a landmark in the city.
The twelve white Roman numerals are mounted directly on the exterior surface of the central tower, with the hands in the center of a smaller black circle. The name "The Edith Centre" appears just abvoe the clock in black letters.
