Here is the introduction from the home site of
St. Bride's Tavern:
The St Brides Tavern is conveniently situated just off of New Bridge Street headed towards Blackfriars Bridge & tube station & only 4 minutes walk from St Pauls Cathederal.
The pub is situated away from all the hustle & bustle but still close enough to be convenient, so it’s the perfect place to relax, meet friends & forget the stresses of the day.
It is a family run business where the landlord David is also the chef. He was classically trained and before coming into the pub he had worked in prestigious hotels & restaurants for 25+ years. The landlady Karen can always be found working in the bar alongside her trustful team of fully trained, friendly staff.
The pub is a member of Greene Kings’ Head Brewers Club & has had the Cask Marque Certificate for numerous consecutive years & so offers traditional hand pulled Ales alongside all the usual & favourite lagers, Aspall’s Cyder & Guinness, all extra chilled of course. It also has a selection of award winning wines to complement David’s fine menu.
The menu is created by David & serves a style of food where everything is sourced locally using only fresh produce, which is delivered daily then prepared & cooked to order for our regular as well as passing customer clientele.
