Das St. Stephansmünster befindet sich auf einem Felsen oberhalb von Rhein und der Stadt Breisach.
Der Bau datiert auf das 12. Jahrhundert zurück, erweitert wurde die Kirche im 15 Jh. Ungewöhnlich ist, dass zum einem die beiden Türme des Münsters unterschiedlich sind und sich zum anderen im Chorbereich befinden und nicht am Eingangsbereich.

The catherdral St. Stephan is located high above the city of Breisach and the river Rhine.
The church was build in the 12th century and was extended in the 15th century. Unusual is on the one hand that the two towers have a different size and shape, plus on the other hand that the towers are located at the Choir and not at the door area.
