These three signs will provide visitors with information about the animals and birds that call this park home (at least part of the year). There are more than 160 species of birds that migrate thru the park and more than 30 that nest in the park! Other critters, such as the Western Fence Lizard provide food for the birds. Also learn how this park was once the former Marsh Road Sanitary Landfill! From the late 1950s through 1984, an old salt pond at this location was used as a garbage dump. Guess what is under that big hill of dirt, behind these signs?
